Miller Phoenix Home has opened new premises in Steyning High Street, just down from the post office. Emma has filled her exquisite shop full of delicious treats, truly something for everyone - a beautiful place to shop for Christmas. Not only that, Emma has taken a couple of my pieces too, so thank you Emma! Please support independent businesses and shop local this year x

Steyning Arts' annual Christmas Gift Fair & Art Exhibition will be held on Saturday, 3rd December at the Steyning Centre, Fletchers Croft, 10.30am-4.pm. It really is a fabulous place to kick-start (or finish) your Christmas shopping, so come on down - there's even a cafe! x
August 2022...
Somebody turn the sun down a bit!
There are a couple of local exhibitions that I am lucky enough to be taking part in this month.
Firstly,'Cuckmere Stories of the Sea' - a Sussex based collaboration of artists inspired by the sea, taking place at South Hill Barn in Seaford.
Then there is the annual 'Artists & Makers Exhibition' at St Nicholas Church, Bramber. I've visited this exhibition before and it's a goodie x

well i had a ball at this year's Steyning Arts Art Trail. great company, great venue, great cakes and great art - what's not to like. thank you to all of our visitors and customers, you really did ice the cake, so to speak x

really quite looking forward to taking part in the annual Steyning Arts Art Trail at the end of this month. i'll be at venue 9 (12 laines road) with lindy wells ceramicist and benita hibbert lino artist. we'll be ready, armed with delicious cakes, over the weekend of 28th and 29th May and 3rd-5th June, 11am-4pm. the trail map can be found at www.steyningarts.co.uk x

i know, i know, it's been a while...
i've mentioned before that i struggled with my mojo over lockdown and i really was wondering whether it would ever return! well i do think it's slowly creeping back. i had the best time crafting with 'made&making' (www.madeandmaking.co.uk) this weekend at their first ever craft retreat. a whole 2 days of organised crafts, glorious food and my own hotel room, what could be better? a long-awaited 50th birthday present to myself - i'm nearly 52!!! take a look at their website, it is such a welcoming, inspiring place to hang out and learn something new
