what an amazing weekend! the sun shone and the visitors came! it was fabulous to meet so many interesting people (in a covid-friendly way) and talk about my work. the fun continues over the weekend of 4th and 5th of September, 11am-5pm. Oh, and the carrot cake was to die for x

exciting news in our neighbourhood - steyning arts are hosting their LIVE (i know right!!!) art trail at the end of this month. i will be at venue 7, by invitation of lindy wells, ceramacist. i really cannot wait to meet and chat to people in person. the venue is organised to enable social distancing, mask wearing, air flow, one way in and another way out, hand sanitizing, etc so for the nervous amongst us (me included) this will be welcome news. take a look at https://steyningarts.co.uk/art-trail-2021/ for all the information and a trail guide map. please please please come along and support your local artists, we've been waiting patiently! x
march 2021...
spring is definitely in the air and i've been vaccinated so there feels like there is a wee glimpse of light at the end of this long tunnel. i've been spending my time taking stock on a personal level and a creative level - building up my motiviation and positivity again, ready to get back into my studio. this long period of isolation, fear and despondancy has affected so many people in so many ways. i feel it will take us time to adjust coming out the other side as much as it did going into lockdown. my hope is that the community kindness i've seen around me continues into the future too x
